Birthday time!

We managed to get a baby sitter for Saturday evening so we could go out for a nice local meal together and tonight was spent celebrating with the kids with magic colour candles on a home made cake! I have no idea how I managed to whip this cake up as at 7.15am this morning two vans turned up outside our house and five men poured into the house and turned it upside down. They took the windows out and replaced them with new ones and did a load of other jobs. When we returned after 6pm this evening they were still working.
So, the house is filthy and covered in a layer of dust, we have plastic up at some of the windows and paper protective covers on the floors but nothing was going to stop us having some birthday cake and celebrating Neil's Birthday and he finally got the long awaited coffee machine that he's always wanted!
