Great day for gardening

I have had a great time in the garden today. I have done some weeding and potted up 14 African violets I have grown from cuttings.

This is a view from my back yard. Three of my favourite trees including a Crepe Myrtle which has just finished flowering, a golden ash and a gum. The latter two are huge trees and must be very old. We are fortunate having mature trees in the yard and soon will have lots of leaves. I have still got leaves from last year but they have mulched down well and I am using them in the new garden I am planting,

It looks stormy but we had a dry day in the end...
