Mixed Emotions
I was disappointed that the weather man was wrong again as I walked south along the coast from Dunbar, following the John Muir Way. The shoulders were down and my footsteps heavy as I searched here and there to make the best of any slim photo opportunities.
Ahead was the giant of Torness and I deliberated about going on, but the hope that there may be an interesting photo opportunity kept me going and I was rewarded.....
Rewarded with a sky that was rapidly turning blue and warm sunshine that was easing my joints, making my footsteps lighter and pushing my shoulders back as I inhaled deeply and cherished the occasion.
I feel for the person who has never felt warm sunshine on their face and treasured the moment.
how great it is to do nothing
and then to sit down again afterwards and rest
In the evening I went along to St. Michael's at Linlithgow to watch the National Youth Choir of Scotland perform their Christmas concert.
Hope everyone else has had fun today.
