Mother's Day

Couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day with Audrey. She has been an absolute joy today and we've had so much fun in the (warmer) Spring sunshine.

We had our first trip to the Meadows this morning (somewhere we picnicked a lot last year). We have our favourite little spot by the trees so I can keep an eye on Audrey as she runs off into the distance (standard behaviour). Today however it was the Sunday football so the fields were full of sweaty, sweary, shouty footballers. Didn't bother Audrey one iota, off she went running right into the middle of a game. They didn't look impressed with their pitch invasion but couldn't help smiling at her in the end in her little pink coat and wellies.

This afternoon, whilst Angus watched the Liverpool game, I had some clothes sorting to do. My annual Winter to Spring sort out. Pile for charity shop, pile for eBay and the rest in storage bags. Thought Audrey would be bored but she had a brilliant time hindering helping me. This was her dressing up in my hat! She looks like a proper little lady!
