Do bees snooze?

Sat in the sun I became aware of one of the lovely sounds of Spring - the buzz of a big fat Bumble Bee. Looking around I saw him (or as ever with these things, her) making his way from flower to flower. Camera at the ready I paused as he went into this daffodil...and then all was silent. I waited & waited. I even cautiously gave the daffodil a little flick, but nothing happened. So I took my blip, drank my coffee & waited some more. Nothing. A couple of hours later I went past & the bee was gone, my conclusion is that it was a lovely day for any and all of natures creatures to grab forty winks in the sun.

Knee progress seems to be OK - still remarkably tired each evening but doing a little bit more each day and now not taking any painkillers which has to be a plus.
