Cattle egrets

We saw so many great sights each day it's hard to know which ones to pick, but I have to include this place. We were at the Taj Mahal early in the morning and, like so many of the other sites, I was very pleased to find beautiful gardens with mature trees and - you guessed - birds. Also, the Yamuna River is just behind the mausoleum with lots of birds on sandbanks, mainly black-winged stilts. I can see why so many people fall in love with the place.
