Oxford...

...Christ Church College, Oxford.
Because this was the one moment that the sun shone.

Himself and I had optician appointments today.
We're a bit 'Howard and Hilda' in the respect of booking them together :-/
We still haven't actually had them, because they were behind by, 'at least 50 minutes'. (!) Mixed messages abounded...
So.
Having had no confidence inspired in us whatsoever, we cancelled, about which they seemed quite pleased.
And we went for a lovely walk in Oxford!

It was a funny day, weather-wise, mainly bleak and grey.
I could have chosen any one of half a dozen blips (like buses aren't they?).
Rowers rowed past, punters punted by, swans, geese and ducks all made ripples and reflections in the Isis, and yellow and cream daffodil-lined banks framed the scenes.

However, tomorrow it's sure to be ladybird eggs (..unless they've hatched).

Back home in time for tea and stickies.

Fortunately the red wine forecast is clear, fruity and mellow.
