A different day
I was up and out by 7.30am and arrived in Cambridge by 9am without too much traffic. I had a useful internal meeting discussing our website and business development with some colleagues. I headed over to Northampton over lunchtime and had another fruitful meeting with my assistant, now that she's back working with me full time. I've delegated a great deal of work to her and have caught up with myself and the recent new instructions, which is all moving in the right direction.
My blip (messed on PixlrExpress) was taken taken deep in the Northamptonshire countryside whilst waiting to see the head shrink. It was trying to rain, the wind was running madly through the crops and the sky larks were flying high and twittering loudly, one of my absolute favourite sounds in the whole world. I savoured that half hour. The words 'What is this life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare? no time to stand beneath the boughs and stare as long as sheep and cows....' sprung to mind, as they so often do while I'm waiting for my session.
This week's session was good, with plenty more food for thought and enlightening in a way some other sessions haven't always been.
I got home to the delicious smell of beef bourguignon for tea but also to the tragic news that Bob Geldof's 25 year old daughter has died. I can't imagine how that must be for him to lose a daughter at such a young age. My heart goes out to her children.
It'll be a quiet night and I'm looking forward to spending a day out with my sis tomorrow too.
