For Mom

Considering Haarlem isn't a tropic destination, it's pretty unusual to see a palm tree over here to say the least.

Today is a special day to me and I would like to dedicate this photo to my mother who was born in tropic Batavia / Indonesia 88 years ago, and strongly survives in the harsh Dutch climate.

Just like this palm tree she always amazes and impresses people with positive vibes thanks to her strength and evergreen leaves, regardless the season.

Happy birthday Mom!

Ps. as Holland probably has the most inhabitants per square mile, houseboats are an often seen solution to our space issues.
