I am a dalek….
What a day! I didn’t sleep too well last night, probably four hours max but up at 6am and out of the house by 7am for my trip to Deeside (its now 8:25pm and just home). I sat in traffic…it took an hour longer than expected (both ways).
On the way to Deeside I had to do a quick blip turnaround...... a dalek in a field! Turned out it was advertising an ice cream place called ‘Who’.
Meeting went well and nothing overly surprising and three new employees will transfers to us in two weeks. They seem like good guys. I wasn’t however impressed with sitting in a warehouse to hold my meetings with no heating!! the place needs a girly touch!
Thankfully one of our guys recused me with a big workers coat…I looked positively stupid in a 4xl jacket but hey who cares, I was warm at least. Teach me right for thinking it was spring!
Driving home one of the girls (N) who answers our office phones called me very upset…a guy with a thick America accent had called the office asking for me, however when asked as to who he was he was became aggressive, abusive and rather explicit with his references to women and what he thinks of women. He then kept calling…….after the fourth call N hung up on him and took his number from caller display. They guy was calling from New York and it would appear very much a prank call. In one way I feel sorry for the person making the call, clearly he has issues but I also take these calls very seriously. Let’s see what tomorrow brings but I am pretty sure it is a one off.
on the way home I eventually I passed the ‘Who’ place so I decided to stop for an ice cream….oh boy…it was a combo ice cream….one chocolate scoop and one clotted cream scoop….YUUUMMMYYYYYY!
Happy Tuesday everyone and apologies for lack of comments tonight. Now its time for hubby and dinner.
