Camellias in Chorlton....

It's been a bit of a stressful day for me so I wasn't out and about with one or the other of my recoding devices. So I had to look back at some pictures I took on Saturday. The leafy suburban streets of Manchester look a treat at the moment with spring in full swing. All kinds of bushes were in flower. I was taken by the delicate, pink perfection of these camellias on Egerton Road in Chorlton.

Egerton Road used to be a part of Chorlton where you could pick up a house for a reasonable price in this favoured suburb. But, judging by the Lotus cars and their like in the drives, those days have gone....
