nonsenses & truths

Multi-faith

A trip to Halfords passes (left to right) a Shree Krishna temple, a Polish(?) Catholic Church and a Sikh Gurdwara. Quite possibly there is a better place to photograph them all from - the tower block of flats across the road looks ideal.

The trip resulted in the purchase of a solar battery charger for the van. It seems that I'll need to leave this unattended on the outside in order to connect it to the battery - if the weather looks ok I will try tomorrow and cross everything that no passing scrote decides to nick it.

And now for something completely different. This came into my head for some reason (maybe related to yesterday's leaves?). What's amazing is that I probably haven't heard this song for 25 years, but quite a bit of it was still lurking amongst the little grey cells.

Early in the morning
Hear the razor roar
There's silver in the stubble
And it wasn't there before.

For the leaves are getting greener
And spring is on the way
And girls* are getting prettier
And younger every day.
