Glasgow City Chambers - the council chamber

Went on a tour of Glasgow City Chambers this morning, and rather good it was too. A very informative hour in which we not only saw the marvellous marble staircase, but the council chamber, the magnificent banqueting hall, the portrait gallery and much more. It is a truly impressive building.

What to choose for my 'photo of the day' then? There were several shots I had in mind, but settled for this one of the leather seats in the council chamber. And very comfortable they were too!
