The Artist

It was a dull grey day. I drove over to Pollard Park for some inspiration for a blip. There I came across Annette, the artist, working away at capturing an idyllic scene on canvas. She was there with Helen, another artist friend. Painting in the park looks to be such a creative and fun thing to do.
Most artists I know go out and about armed with a camera. They capture a number of images and then return to their warm houses and paint lovely landscapes from those images. It is unusual to come across artists in the flesh, relaxed and happy whilst enjoying their craft in the outdoors.
