Seized Up

As an engineer, I find great beauty in forms created by engineering processes. I would love to have the rotor head from the helicopter I fly as a coffee table. It's a huge machined lump of titanium with glorious machined curves and surfaces. I digress. This engine was once a thing of shiny, smooth running beauty. Now completely seized it has somehow found another beauty in its rust riddle state. Never to run again but a monument to a hard life taking people and produce too and fro. Holidays away, day trips, school runs, the dreaded commute. Left to rest with a sea view.
