End of the road

There is a cycle way running parallel to the A66 between Appleby and Prnrith. Unfortunately it doesn't go all the way. Here marks the end. To cycle the last 4 miles to Penrith brave souls have to negotiate the A66. Lots of prayers for a safe journey required amongst the fleet of HGVs.

Millions were spent improving the A66 but cyclists were forgotten.
