Holding hands

Today's picture is taken in Chorlton Ees during the highlight of my day. A walk along the river with Audrey. We held hands (which felt amazing) and saw a butterfly, a duck and even a tractor mowing the meadows. She loved trying out all the new words!

We also saw Jo for an hour which was lovely. She's just back from a salsa holiday in Havana and she radiated with holiday glow.

The rest of the day was pretty awful again, sadly. Audrey woke early. She was tired, grouchy and prone to meltdowns. We soldiered on but I have been close to tears on several occasions as it is so so draining. She brightened for Jo, obviously. As she does with other people at the moment. She's not right though - bad stomach, no appetite and waking in the night. I just want her back to normal :(
