Green

This is the view along the side of an NHS clinic on my way from the Tube station to work. I love the coloured glass panels and the different greens in them. I've been meaning to blip them for a while.
I've just tried to find out more about them and it seems they are based on a some NMR scans. This is the description from the website Bolsover Street
"The artwork uses specially commissioned Magnetic Resonance Imaging scans of two hands with fingertips meeting at the building's corner. The abstracted imagery is manipulated and printed onto the safety-film within two-storey glass fins at ground and first floor levels. Like glass microscope slides, the fins preserve 'slices' of complete three dimensional forms and have been carefully spaced so that a sense of the complete hands can be reconstructed when the façade is seen as a whole. The fins are grouped into blocks in calm and clean colours from lime to bottle green and turquoise. Artificial lighting produces gradual shifts within the same colour range, increasing the dynamism at night."
I'll have to check it out after dark in the autumn to see the colour changing aspect.
