Foxglove tree
One of my former colleagues (N is now working very close to me in London. She'd spotted an unusual tree in Regent's Park and posted a picture of the blossom on Facebook. Between us, her contacts managed to work out what it was and so I decided to turn my lunchtime into a mission to find it and blip it. With the aid of a useful page on the trees of Regent's Park Regent's Park trees I found the Foxglove Tree (Paulownia tomentosa) and also bumped into N. The tree was amazing - the flowers were huge and fit in your palm. Nice to get out into the spring sunshine and to catch up (though briefly) with N.
