The Ark

Tomorrow the kids and Mrs PS head for Auckland, I stay for a few more days to finish off at work. So today was "Christmas in Christchurch".

We had as special breakfast, the kids opened presents from us (so we don't have to cart them to Auckland). They played and constructed some of them, Power Miners lego for example.

Then out to drop off a few presents for friends, to the Christmas Grotto, and then afternoon tea with local relations. Very pleasant social day.

And then, Christmas dinner - sushi and pavlova. Hahaha, the kids loved it. They'd far rather have sushi than a roast dinner ;-)

So, the image. Note the ISO, 3200. Low light and hand held, I experimented with the new camera from 1600 up to 6400. Staggeringly good result I reckon.
