Planted..

A busy day in a quiet sort of way. It's been nice, and mild, but the wind is geting up now and it looks like rain.

Shuffled a bit of money about to boost my current account. Phoned up the Tractor spares place, and discussed which bits we need to get A's tractor running, and ordered them. Loaded up 30 trays of brassicas into the trailer ready for planting later..

Went to Sandra's funeral. She was a lovely lady. She taught us some Scottish country dances, and we used to play whist together. A sad loss..

Came back home and got changed, and then straight down the croft to plant the brassicas, 450 pots of cabbage, cauliflowers, kale, brussels sprouts.. 8 rows, and a short row of brussels on the right.. Still have more to do, but couldn't fit anymore in the trailer. Delivered a tray to K who wants some for his garden, and then down to the lodge to talk over the veg plot management with G. I'm taking on some beds in the walled garden..

Back home, and phoned Mum. Very difficult for her to hear me with the background hospital noise.. All's well so it seems.. She has some fluid on her lungs, which have been scanned today. Get the results in a few days.. My nephew and niece were with her when I called, and my brother has been in..

Oh, and ordered some more shelves for the lounge..
