Springs Village Store established 1864 and still in the same
family ownership. Old photographs show few changes to the
frontage over the last 100 years. It was also the first Post Office
in the area. The old petrol pumps, long since redundant, add the
same nostalgic charm as a horse trough and no porch would
be without its rocking chair. Inside there is an amazing choice of
self-service coffees with flavours as unusual as vanilla and hazelnut.
A deli offers an appetising alternative to the greens and groceries which
would have had sole rights to the shelves not so many years ago.
