Subtle..
..differences..
To two days ago..
More brassicas planted (yesterday) and after early morning rain, I went down to try out the new seed drill. A blank run to see if I needed to rake the soil, which I decided I did, but only to level the ground where the rotavator left ridges between bouts. There are five rows to left of the cabbages. The odd two rows on the right are brussels, which will be one of the last things harvested, allowing for early cultivation next year. Or that's the plan at least..
And then to try some seed. Did a row of Coriander, and another, and then two of Spinach, and a final row for today of Swiss Chard. It is so easy to do, sowing 5 rows in about 10 minutes. And most of the time was spent adjusting rollers and cogs to change seed spacing.. Even got a funnel to speed cleaning the hopper out. It's a piece of cake..
Shelves turned up later, know what I'm doing this weekend..
Camera club tonight looking at calendar pictures..
