Warped

No excitement outside our door today, but plenty in other parts of Copacabana. Our in-house purveyor of bad news told us that protests against the death of a dancer and alleged police brutality had closed some road for a while, including Av. Copacabana, the main drag. We were working, tied to our computers and unaware of what was happening.

Talking of work, our twice-a-week daily came and even she was surprised by what she got through - which included huge quantities of water, as she washed every surface in sight.

Remembered blip just as I was going to bed. Is it really worth taking an indifferent photo of just anything, just to keep up the 365 day challenge? Probably not, but I did anyway. This red burst of stamens (?) is some kind of an aberration – usually the pompom would sit atop a long, fleshy stem, but this one never made it past the ground floor.
