at home with an Ivysaurus

Ivy once again mucks with size comparison photos..

Ivy has a habit of making it impossible to take size comparison photos of her

Here she is up to her old tricks and squashing king louie down and standing up on him in her monthly growth compared to King Louie (my trusted childhood teddy) photo. I have been taking one of these every month- altough I have just discovered that as part of over enthusiastically clearing space on the camera's SD card 6 months is missing. I've found a photo of her sitting a few days later, Euan thinks we should claim that King Louie was on holiday that month. Poor King Louie needs a holiday, Euan employs him as a draft excluder in the living room most of the time.

A productive day- went down the allotment in the morning and added some hortcultural sand and fish, blood and bone to the riddled part of my bed before putting in DIY seed mats of parsnip with radish/ beetroot to mark out the spots and some rainbow coloured carrots. I'm trying to work out where going to the allotment fits in with Ivy's day- I figure before her morning nap is probably best so I was desperatly trying to keep her awake on the walk home.

In the afternoon did some cleaning/ organising of the upstairs. Ivy helped when she woke from her afternoon nap by helping to point out all the pieces of rubbish and coins on the floor. She can sniff out a coin at 2m with her eyes shut it seems.

Weather has finally broken and the skies have gone all grey. Maybe tomorrow will be another cleaning day rather than an outside day.
