At Home: Late evening light....x

I love spring evenings. I love that you can stay outside until past 9 o clock. I love that its late enough to eat dinner, for the kids to watch a smidge of TV and then head for a long evening walk.

This evening, the children, the cat, the dog and the horse followed. The horse tacked up. We are getting him used to a new saddle. Its a 'Barefoot' one. A treeless, cheyenne indian style padded saddle. This means that your weight is distributed across the horses back as it would be with a western saddle. My common sense says that this would be a good saddle for Jack given that he enjoys the children sitting on bareback. I am guessing that this might feel similar.

Sam rode home tonight. Jack walking quicker to the pace of the sun going down. The light, just playing on the top of the dandelions heads.Beau carrying the cat and Ella running along side the yellow rape with Eva.....perfect.......x
