Far flung friends

Wonderful surprise to see a good friend in Manchester today as had totally forgotten she was here on a hen do this weekend! After some shuffling of plans, Audrey and I met her for brunch in The Alchemist.

Audrey was so well behaved, happily letting us chat whilst eating her beans on toast which they has prepared for her (off menu).

It just made me sad though as she lives so far away and today was a glimpse of what life would be like if she was close by :(

Damn lives that take friends in different directions and to opposite sides of the country.

Off out to celebrate some good news with Angus tonight, meeting up with a few friends in Didsbury. Just hoping the hangover isn't too bad to tomorrow! Must. Drink. Water. Between. Drinks. Tonight.
