Birthday Brews

Today was Ryan's Birthday! Ryan is a fellow scientist at R's lab (chemist) as well as a surfer. His wife, Ann, is a vet. Over the year they have become very good friend of ours - so much so that when I was recently explaining to Ryan that I wasn't sure what I was going to do yet about an officient at our wedding he volunteered himself and said he'd be honored! He's a great guy and very well spoken and thoughtful - I know he will do a great job!

Since everyone had the day off, R and I met Ryan at Gorden Biersch for a birthday drink. We ended up ordering the sampler which was good but definitely confirmed I'm not much of a dark beer kind of girl.
