Ormonde Hill AGAIN

I went to the Hospice today as I usually do on a Tuesday, to volunteer in the cafe. When I arrived I found everyone in a panic as they were having an impromptu inspection.

One of the joys of being retired is that you are no longer subjected to such stressful situations. So I was not amused. Then I took myself in hand and put everything into perspective. "Stop being so silly, you are a mere volunteer. They are lucky to have you and no-one can sack you, demote you at stop your rise. Neither can you be sent on improving courses."

In actual fact the inspectors were very polite and appreciative ladies who obviously didn't want to be guilty of upsetting the volunteers. So there was nothing to worry about.

When I finished my shift and went home the dogs and I went for a lovely walk up Ormonde Hill. They were very sympathetic and all's right with the world again!
