The Races

We had a FABULOUS day today! We had planned to meet Granny and Grandad to head to the family day at the racecourse. We did indeed do that but we also met up with our friends Julie, Phil and children, including my goddaughter. We managed to "bag" a picnic spot on the side of the racetrack. Where shortly some other friends of ours also appeared! We had such a good day. All the children were extremely good and played wonderfully. She had a great time with them. Granny and Grandad said they loved seeing her with her friends. Lots was eaten, lots was played. She had a fabulous go on a bungee trampoline. The guy kept asking her if she wanted to go higher and she laughed & said yes every time. She went SO high!! She giggled the entire turn and the waiting crowd as cheering her!

The races started mid afternoon and the girls had a great time choosing the ones they wanted to cheer for. Based entirely on name and colour of course.

A roast dinner at home with Granny and Grandad to finish a fabulous day!
