The Ivy cave transhe sforms into ball pit
This is Ivy having a whale of a time in her improvised ball pit. I flipped the desk that's usually the ivy-cave onto it's side and lined the bottom with her crash mat. You can tell how exited Ivy is by something by how much she chatters away- she was saying 'bih bih bih' and I said 'are you saying Ball Ivy?' and Ivy said 'YES!' as clear as anything- complete coincidence, but very funny. :) Granny Grant got to have a shot in the ball pit too. Ivy's cousin has a slightly less hacked together ball pit- so if she ever comes to visit- they can play in ours together!
Ivy fell asleep on my back on our morning trip to the allotment, so had an early morning nap without having her usual yohurt elevensies. I potentially got her up for her nap slightly early because I wanted to play with the ball pit we'd built her. In the afternoon got lots of tidying done- the box room is finally organised and clear. Ivy's room is looking amazing! her cot it now turned round ot make a sort of room divider, so it's really cosy and she had a big square of free space to play in.
In the evening we went swimming- so Ivy could show off to her Granny what a water baby she is. Her pudding tonight was whipped cream, coco powder and mint from the garden- it's a luxurious diet when you're parents are trying to fatten you up.
