Winchester Cathedral

This morning there were a few spots of rain so Thomas' cricket match was cancelled! So we went out to breakfast instead and had delicious eggs benedict.

The older boys had a school tennis match in Winchester, so we set off earlier than the match was due to start so I could wander around Winchester. It is such a pretty town, with a lovely feeling and good shopping! The cathedral is a beautiful and quite a focal point of the town.

The tennis was very windy and they won all their matches easily, and Luke was annoyed that they wasted their time going all the way there to play such easy matches when he could have been studying. He has his final A level German oral on Tuesday and has so much work to prepare for it, as he has to be able to discuss two works of German literature in depth - in German!
