" THE POWER OF LOVE "

So 45 years ago, Mr A and I made a promise to one another. To love, honour and probably obey!! Not sure about that one?

But over the years we have been through many ordeals, ones which I wont bore you all with here, but we have worked together as a team. Marriage works with committment, and us 'oldies' know that it's worth fighting for. The young seem to fall at the first hurdle, believing in the stuff they are fed on the TV. Anyway, enough of that.

The above photos are of Crantock Bay and you only have to see the look on Mr A's face to 'read' how cold and windy it was.

The sea was being whipped up and apart from a few wind sail board folk, no-one was venturing in. Well most of us could hardly stand up against the force of the wind anyway.

We celebrated with a Crantock Pasty in the car as it was raining, and once we took these photos, were glad to retire back to the car. We had toured around a number of other possible villages in search of suitable 'nesting' places but ended up coming back to the hotel for a warm coffee and rest before our expected lovely meal. The St Michael's Hotel in Falmouth was where we were staying and it was excellent. We were given complimentary champagne and enjoyed a very good evening dinner.

After coming back to our room and catching the voting of Eurovision, I have come to the conclusion the United Kingdom shouldn't bother anymore. Unless we enter someone in Wellington Boots, suspenders and a full beard and moustache! I thought it was a song show not a circus!! How they get away with all the political voting beats me.

And on that note, it is time to say goodnight. We are back safely to our lovely little village. The house is good and nice to return to. Shame we have to move, just need to come into money to pay off the mortgage. If anyone knows where the pot of gold is hidden, please tell me.

Much love to you all. xx
