Hair Days at 5.

It seems the 12th May is a popular day for birthdays. Sons #1&2 both have their birthdays today- same day of the month, same ridiculously early time of morning, both a week late, both heavy weights, one 10lbs the other 9lbs, but thankfully 10 years apart.

I can still remember #1's look of disappointment when he came to the hospital on his own special day to visit his new baby brother who had stolen his thunder, although I think, knowing how things were going, we had his birthday cake the day before.

Their common birthday is one of the few things, apart from their lack of hair and a multitude of sisters that is common to them both nowadays.
They live in different countries and have very different personalities, but I know they will text each other today and I have a Skype time arranged for both.

It is also the birthday of a cousin by marriage, and so to them all, His Lordship and I say- "Happy Birthday Alasdair, David, and cousin Dorothy!"
