Ride along

This is the tunnel connecting all the buildings on my site. It's fairly long so if you need to get from one end to the other quickly then they provide trikes and a basket to carry you and your belongings along it.

Got an email telling me I had be selected as part of select group of 50 sales reps for company to attend inaugural life sciences conference in July in Philly. An all expenses week in PA which I can turn into mini vacay as second weekend is holiday weekend and can visit my mate whom I missed after being stuck in ice storms out there in feb. Although wife is on hen do that weekend so need a home for the baby. Any takers?

Very hot and windy here today. Santa Ana's blowing like crazy. Hottest may on record since the early 1800's. Only going to get hotter as the week continues.

Managed to sleep through a house burning down early this morning in the complex next to us. Sadly someone died in there. Another large fire a little further north east of us due to the heat. 700 acres and 5% contained. 20k homes evacuated apparently although that number seems a little steep. Heading south west. Still a ways away from us but with the forecast weather who knows what could happen.

Footy again tonight. Slightly cooler. Scraped 7-6 win against best opposition we had faced this season (although they were 3-3). Air so dry I was horse after 15 min and have a sore throat.
