Bah, Humber!

Mr A & I had a little road trip up to Hull today.

I've never been before but for Mr A, it was a trip down memory lane as he was a student there 20 years ago!

The day was glorious for a ride out, and as we arrived into the town centre and parked up, there was a massive crowd of bikers (mainly Harley's) ready to set off on a charity ride. Talk about perfect timing!
We watched them leave, before having a wander round the town, down to the marina and for some lunch.

Mr A showed me the Uni Campus and pointed out which building he studied in, then we had a drive round to see the houses he lived in while he was a student.

We then headed down to see the Humber Bridge, I didn't realise there would be a beach there!
It's an impressive structure, and bigger than the Golden Gate Bridge (which we will see in September) but smaller than the one in Japan that was constructed more recently.

The 'bah' bit of the blip title is for the parking ticket we found on the bike after our stroll around town. We had parked next to 2 other motorbikes, in a cycle bay but neither of them had tickets. It didn't spoil the day but it's highly annoying and we will be disputing it.
Especially after reviewing the footage on the GoPro where there are no signs to say there's a restriction on parking times or vehicle type. Grrrrrrr!
