A GATEWAY

We caught a bus and went back to The Natural Park De S'Albufera. We spent quite a lot of time in bird hides today. There seemed to be lots of families of baby birds. The baby black-winged stilts were a treat to watch as were the group of four juvenile hoopoes. We had good sightings of purple swamphen and a rather large terrapin.
The whole area was quite colourful with a wide variety of wild flowers and bee orchids were plentiful. There are lots of gate ways throughout the park which I love as they are made out of natural shaped wood, not sawn planks. This is one of the gate ways.
Another brilliant day!
