Sundays summer party

A sentimental photo today, one of my oldest friends Talia, her brother Mark and I have photos of us about 35 years ago playing on this climbing frame . Today we had our photo taken with our children playing on it (obviously Heidi is respecting how much this photo means to me).

A very last minute dash to Marks and Sparks meant I had some white shorts to play in the family tournament with India this morning at tennis club. The sun was blazing and we had fun. With seconds to spare we rushed home, all changed and headed over to Sue and Dons for a party in their fabulous garden. I used to love playing in this garden from 35 years ago and my girls loved it today. I saw lots of people who knew me as a little girl, Heidi's age and apparently I haven't changed a bit! It was a great party, mum, dad and Tanya were there too. I had a complete no cakes or puddings fail, the profiteroles were unbelievable, Tals had made a chocolate cake and mum her amazing orange cake. I got to the gym for 8pm but think it may well have been a drop in the ocean!
