Transition.....

It is amazing how an area of turbulence can quite often be bordered by an area of extreme calm. This photo is on the edge of the rock shelf below The Skillion at Terrigal at low tide. Waves crashing in against the rocky drop off and still water pooled and reflecting the clouds catching the last light of the day. I guess life is like this. I recall a saying that said "when one door closes, another opens....." to which a friend added "but in the meantime it can be hell in the hallways!"
Our daughter is finally coming towards the end of her IB exam period on the other side of the world. After the turbulence of the last 5 months she will be heading home to, hopefully, a few months of blissful rest before heading back out into the world for university.
Yes, we are on the edge.....in more ways than one!
