Summer is a-coming!

More and more swallows have flown in over the last couple of weeks. I love to see them and love the way these feathers are slightly ruffled by ever such a light breeze on the top of The Wolds early this morning.
The female mallard that came earlier this year with 1 or 2 males now appears to have kicked the males into touch and has been on or by my pond for the last 4 days. I think she likes it here!!
