Flynn in the flowers

I took lots of photos today but this one of my puppy sat amongst the blue flowers carpeting areas of our usual walk is my favourite.

Gillian's orange and poppyseed cake went in the oven at 8.30am and we raced to school so that I would be back to open the front door to one of the best smells to waft out, just baked cake. I met Jo at the jewellers to choose a present for Gillian and dashed to spinning for 9.30. After a sunny dog walk I made the cakes filling and took it assembled to the birthday lunch. We started off sat outside and it was just the best way to spend an afternoon chatting, it clouded over so we came inside for cake and tea.

I released India, Heidi, Jay, Josh and the 2 dogs onto the park after school for an hour and a half letting off steam and posing for blip pictures for me. They leapt out from behind trees and synchronised dandelion clock blowing enthusiastically.

Mr.W is driving me mad watching James Bond films every evening, I can't tell if it seems to be never ending because there are so many of them or whether he is watching the same ones repeatedly because he keeps falling asleep in the same place.
