Meet Syd

With the passing of two of our dogs May and Jess, my father in law set out to find us a replacement dog. He managed to secure this gorgeous wee puppy, whom we have named 'Syd'. He is half Beardie and half heading dog, is 8 weeks old, and will be trained to work with the dairy cows.

Syd is so full of life, making it very hard to get a really good photo. This is about the best I got. No doubt you will be seeing lots of photos of Syd - that's if I can get him to stay still long enough!

Many thanks for all your kind thoughts on the passing of Jess. It's always a shock coping with the sudden death of a pet, however, we have lots of memories and photos of Jess to look back on to remind us what a great companion she was.
