May Daily Challenge - Minimum

Day 20 of AnnieMay and MollyMay's May challenge - Minimum

I paid the minimum of attention to the subject for today and nearly blipped something for maximum (tomorrow's theme). However, on a day out in the Lakes there was plenty of choice of what to blip to go with the theme.

We set out with the intention of going to Loughrigg Tarn. We stopped off at Red Bank for rather longer than planned and then headed towards Grasmere and Pennyrock wood, so never got to Loughrigg. But then we also never got to Pennyrock wood either, staying on the other side of the river in White Moss Wood. A final stop on the way back in Grasmere for a visit to Baldry's tea shop and the compulsory stop at Grasmere Gingerbread before heading home.

At the side of the River Rothay we found an area of wild garlic, which smelled wonderful. In order to get in close enough for this shot I needed to get closer than minimum focus, so had to add extension rings to get focus. All done on a day when we only kept to a minimum of intentions too.
