Just as they fell.....

The life of the beautiful peony has been short and today it had become simply a collection of petals when I got home. Still beautiful to the end. Others in the bunch are proudly blooming but I fear they too will have a short life.

I have dutifully voted and there was a steady stream of people at the Polling Station this evening. Apparently it has been a busy day with a good turn out. Now the polls are closed and I will soon hear how the voting went at one of the Lewisham stations. It's been a long day for some!
