Going On A Bear Hunt

Squirrel got up this morning and looked as if she had a fan blowing her hair.
It stayed like that until after her afternoon sleep.
She was at the doctor this afternoon for a bit of dry skin. He also confirmed what we thought about her being under the weather ..... she has a bout of croup and a temperature.

The Cygnet once again proved that toy saws are quite capable of doing the job. Okay it is only a cardboard box but it only took him seconds to convert it cardboard sheets.

He and I went for a bit of hunt in the woods for deer, squirrels or birds.
He is far too noisy to get even a glimpse of them, let alone a bear.

What we did find was a load of these plants next to the pond.
Does anybody know what they are?
