Invercargill Watertower

I traveled down to Invercargill today and went to see Dad,he is doing very well and is a wee bit tired but in good spirits. As I got down past Balclutha the snowflake came up on the display in the car and temperature said 2 deg C believe me it is bitterly cold here with hail and snow showers and some white stuff on the ground. The inland road that I took was closed a little after I traveled it and the snow was coming horizontal and the wind was blowing like 40 born out of wedlock children.
