Graceful..
..went down to the lodge to sow some more beds. A bit of raking, a bit of work with a three pronged cultivator, a bit more raking, and sow. That new seed drill is very good.
6 half rows of spinach, 4 rows of salads, 4 rows of coriander, and 2 of swiss chard. Then planted out 250 lettuce plants from plugs.
The seeds I sowed two or three weeks ago are up, and I'm very pleased with the results. Carrots are spaced about an inch apart which should reduce the thinning out. Beetroot is a little more variable, but will be OK. Planted several hundred onions as sets, and only two are missing..
A grey day to start, but nice sunshine in the afternoon, a shower, and then clouds of midges..
Just about to phone mum, so will report tomorrow..
The statue is alongside the path to the veg patch, and looked lovely in dappled sunlight. I really like this statue.
