Managed to get Tom booked into a Hotel for tonight so thats sorted, didn't fancy an icey trip to Manchester at 3am so hopefully Heathrow will be fine tomorrow or he's facing a long ride to Boston. The American family he is staying with are quite excited by his visit so I'm sure he will have a great time once he's there.

Had a really pleasant chat and walk into town earlier and came back via the quarries, I found this leaf trying to exit the snow to warmer climes.
