Ahhh! I'd give my island for a massage...
My neck and shoulders are in a dreadful knot today. I just can't get comfortable no matter what way I sit or lie. I haven't been to an osteopath/chiropractor for years but I think I need to go to one soon. I'm crippled! It's making me VERY GRUMPY. Eating Nurofen like smarties probably isn't great either. I wonder if it's possible to have a neck and shoulder transplant? We might as well throw the head in while we are about it...
Oh well, that's Tuesday pretending to be a Monday out of the way. It was an OK day. I spent most of it testing a new report for Nuzhat. She is off the rest of this week so I can finish testing over the next few days and then pass it to the users. So many people are off with it being half term week in England. I was hopeful that this would be a nice quiet week workwise so I could rush out into glorious sunshine every day. Humph!
Mom has had the marvellous knack of going out to mass etc in the morning in brilliant sunshine and getting back after midday just before the heavens open. Then it brightens up again and I think I'll be OK. You can guarantee it starts raining again the minute I log off!
We had an early dinner at 4:30pm and I finally got out for a long walk to Greenan Castle and back which is probably 4 miles in total. Where did I take this picture? On the path a minute from the house! Clearly, I'd zoomed in a fair bit but I could have saved myself a walk. I enjoyed it though. It was still and calm, even though it was damp with the usual collection of dog walkers and twat boy racers who like to rev their cars by Ayr India. The aroma from there was wonderful by the way.
I love this scene. I'd sat on one of those benches around this time last year staring at the Isle of Arran on a very rainy day. It was clearer today even though it was still misty. I love the ship in front of the island and the last of the dying sun in the hills of Arran. Quite romantic really.
Go large...
