Finally the rain stopped and the sun came out.

A lunch date with me after a half day at school, and then big girls headed off dancing.

No 3 planted out the seeds she had been growing on her windowsill. Poppies, Rudbekia and Asters. I was allowed some time to play with my much-neglected camera. What a nice change.

Swimming lesson later for No3 (diving too!) and after a dinner at the pool, No 3's school had taken over a local play centre for a fundraiser in the evening.

Kids had a ball. It was closed to the public and they had the run of the place, including the climbing wall. She was very tired by the end of the day.

No 3 asked for a newspaper to read in the garden, seems she likes to read one at the after school club! Sunshine due for the whole weekend ! Get the washing machine on.
